Dorothy Caruso
Writer; partner of Margaret Anderson
Dorothy Park Benjamin Caruso (1893–1955) was an American writer who married the tenor Enrico Caruso in 1918 and was widowed three years later. Her life continued well beyond that famous marriage. She later became the lover of Margaret Anderson, the modernist editor whose work helped shape the transatlantic literary world. The two lived together in France during the final years of Dorothy’s life.
